My name is Jay Doherty, and I am the founder of JD Media. I’ve been fortunate to work with clients around the world on storytelling and multimedia projects, helping bring ideas to life with creativity and care.
Since founding JD Media, I have completed more than 1,400 projects for clients in over 70 countries, including for brands like the Olympics, Pringles, Kellogg’s, and Duolingo. My experience in journalism and production, from CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360° to NPR-affiliate WFUV, has taught me the value of listening closely, communicating thoughtfully, and delivering work that serves each person well.
I graduated from Fordham University in 2026, where I studied journalism and theology with an honors concentration in American Catholic Studies. In 2027, I will begin graduate study at Harvard University, continuing my interests in media, faith, and public service.
