Locally Stored Data Management
I run a multi-terabyte server that is partitioned to read and write multiple user’s files. For specific questions about storage needs, please fill out the form below, or contact me directly. Below are some more details about the management of the servers and the security of the files.
Many of the scripts I use to encrypt the servers are SSL based. If there are any specific questions about how I secure all of the files I host, please contact me.
All of the files are remotely stored, meaning that if the power goes out, or internet fails on both ends of our connection, you will most likely be able to access all of your files. In addition, if you would like to archive your files, and access them on a less frequent basis, that is also a simple option that I could easily setup.
With the solutions that I’ve combined and developed, it is easy to directly transfer files from internal/external drives. Also, there are third party software connections with other extensions that I’ve incorporated into the system making it easy to remotely transfer files from any location with a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Tools and Resources
The server networking switch I use for data transfer and management is by NetGear. It has the ability to connect up to 24 sources simultaneously. This switch is connected to multiple patch panels which are under constant video surveillance, and if you wish to see the status of the servers, there is a dedicated page that can be accessed 24/7 to see if the server is Online, Under Maintenance, Offline, or down.
All users will receive an email at least 24 hours in advance if there is scheduled maintenance to be performed on the server. If you would like to receive more updates regarding the status of the server, you can receive daily, weekly, or monthly updates about the status of the server. You will be able to receive custom notifications after you sign up for the server management.
Again, for any other specific questions about the server, please contact me
